Wow! everything new new, nice. After getting settled please don’t forget to put pictures of your new colorful walls. It is always difficult to give away things that we no longer use it. Even i find it difficult to get rid of things, they just keep mocking me from the cupboards.

@Tomz Absolutely :). Change is alluring.@Irfannuddin It is and all my limbs are hurting.@rama sure will do that. Parting from possessions we know that we will know longer use is sometimes so difficult.

Rachna: It is good you like the colors. For me, when we painted our house from neutral to brighter colors, it took a few days to readjust and start liking it. My first reaction was shock!Have fun with decluttering which is my all time favorite! No, no, no! We won’t just take your word for it. We want proof all decluttering is done :)))

That’s cool! It’s a wonderful feeling to see (and stay) in a freshly painted home!!But yes, the aftermath can be pretty tiring and there are times, when you just wish for a wand to settle it all!!And the clutter-de-clutter is a never ending process!! 😦

@NRIGirl Yes, for those fond of pastels or subtle it could take some time to adjust. Sure, I will post pics 🙂 but the clutter is always lurking in places not clearly visible to the eyes :).@Raaji Sure :).@Shilpa Right, the wonder is there everytime I look around and hopefully will last for a few days. You are right, decluttering is unending almost a daily thing.

@A Yeah, wish one could change the look of a house with the click of some buttons, sigh…@kavita Thanks! And, weekend means more cooking too :).@BKChowla Traditionally, yes. But, these days, painting is done once every 5 years or so and definitely never during diwali due to so many other preparations.@Insignia Truly. The rearranging, reallocating and giving away is much more intense just now. And 3 rooms are already looking so much neater. I will click some pics soon when I am done with the entire house.@Bhagyashree Thanks :).

I like your new background. Very disco. In honour of the house painting? I face same challenges as you in throwing away clutter. Although the pack rat in my house is my husband. Once when I was rumaging through the loft I came across plastic covers – at least 10 kgs of them I think!! Now they are all waiting to be used as garbage bin liners.

@Basil Welcome to my blog. Thanks for the wonderful words :). I can be very disorganized too, and I can quite imagine what you are saying, but these days I put in extra effort to keep things in order.
