Nothing like sharing some of the things that were close to your heart with ur hubby. Its like trying to travel back in time, only now, your not alone, you have ur hubby with you. Like the walks you mentioned.Pavan and I always do that. its fun to know more of each other even after so many years. Even though Pavan has no friends in Tirupati..he still loves to go back there.I am already missing Hyd.

@Renu Welcome to my blog. For a minute, I thought it was my sister commenting, her name is Renu too :). But, then I saw your profile. I hope you have your vacation soon.@Gayatri Yes didi, so true. I think, I have told some tales to Gurdev many times over :). And, it is really fun living all those memories with G. Even Sid loves to hear about my tales. I also thoroughly enjoyed visiting HAL school in Hyderabad and meeting some of his teachers there on one of our visits there.

I felt the same way, when I went to Coonoor with my hubby & kids, the place I spent my childhood. It was ‘walking down memory lane’ literally! I love Mumbai too…the spirit of the place is infectious. I almost regret the decision I made of leaving Mumbai, thinking of the opportunities I’ve missed out! Ahh, everything’s for good, so here I am:) Enjoy your vacation and here’s wishing you a wonderful New Year!

Isnt it just great to be home? To have mom pamper you and fill you in on the family gossip? My parents are coming next month to visit us. Can hardly wait!

@RGB I left Mumbai in 1998 just after completing my MBA. I come back every year because dad is here. I am based in Bangalore now, and absolutely love it here. Yet, for a few days it is fun coming back. Wish you a very happy new year too.@Jarlin It sure is!@Deepa Yes, it is great to be pampered by parents and to meet up with family and share all the gossip and news :). Very true! I am sure you are looking forward to all the fun that you will have.

I have heard of the book..they are a very controversial family. It’s wise to take the book as relative truth. Is nt it sad to see ur old school getting closed down…

@Jon You are right! The book has to be treated with a pinch of salt. She is not a historian and has attempted to glorify her grandfather and father and only speak ill of Benazir. It’s sad about the school, sure.@Chitra Thanks so much for visiting. Wish you a happy new year too.@Bikram That’s too bad. Hope you get your vacation soon. Happy New year to you too.@Emmy Thanks and wish you a very Happy New Year.
