My younger son, Gautam, is all of 3 years and 9 months. He looks very cute and is very loving in disposition. He looks for any excuse to hug Gurdev and me, but is very shy and not so open to affection from others. He is an avid worker. And, I mean he loves doing errands around the house. He is a great help to both of us always fetching things for us. He also is sentimental and moody. He will throw tantrums if he gets offended. He gets up early in the morning and never has any trouble waking up at any hour. He is very fussy about eating, and if possible would live on air :).
He has a great throw and kick with ball. He loved his tricycle but shows no intention to use the larger two-wheeled version. He is very quiet in his class and loved by his teachers. He is extremely possessive of his brother. He loves watching Tom and Jerry on TV. His favorite pastime is playing with his cars and trains. His latest craze is trains. He watches train videos on Youtube every night. No matter how much we try, he will not go sleep in bro’s room. We have put his mattress on the floor in our bedroom. He conveniently leaves all his toys on bhaiya’s bed who has to then do all the cleaning up. He hardly mingles with any kids his age, and mostly likes to play alone or with bhaiya.
Many times when my sons are asleep, I sit by watching them. They look like angels when asleep, I think most kids look so serene and calm, you want to cuddle and kiss them. Anyway, I enjoy everyday with them and hope to be a good mother and friend to my sons and give back the love, which they so generously bestow on me.

@Anulal Really, very sweet of you. Thank you for the wishes.@Jon Thanks again! And no, I really, really wanted a daughter. I guess, some things are not in one’s hand..@Bhagyashree Thanks so much. I know, sometimes, we mommies just feel so overwhelmed by our love for them. We might crib about them being naughty, but mothers never lose sight of how precious their kids are to them.

It is always nice to see your children growing. Even when my sons are aged 15 and 11 but still they look adorable when falls asleep. They have also started sharing some talks with each other, which they love to hide from me and then come to tell me one by one with the promise that I won’t disclose it to the other one. It is fun to be with them. I enjoy their company the most. They are the best of friends now. I’m sure you too will have the same days in future. God bless you and kids 🙂

@Suffix How nice to know about your kids. We as parents are truly blessed.@Jaanvi Thanks for visiting my blog. Hope to see you here often. And look forward to reading your parenting stories too. @manika Yes, we have discussed this. It really is amazing how our experiences with kids transform as they grow older. From being very dependent on parents to evolving into a sort of our friends, yet retaining their respect for us. I am looking forward to more enjoyable memories with them.

Hi Rachna, you sure got a great kid there. Then again, children are unpredictable. You never know what inconsistency they’re going to catch you in next. But…having children make you want to start life over. Have fun, best regards, Lee.

@Anu Great to have you on my blog. Hope to have you here more. Thanks for your warm thoughts. And, of course not, I eat very well :). I just put in a conscious effort to do Yoga and brisk walking. I feel just like we eat everyday, it is also our responsibility to keep our body healthy 🙂
