He is 3 years old and yet seems like such a little baby at times. His vocabulary is expanding every day. Like his brother and mother, he talks a lot :). He is picking up some English from school in addition to his fluent Hindi. He says, ” I want to” instead of ” I want.” He says tiacks for tracks or track pants. For gelatin candy he says LMNO :). He is particular about wearing tracks when going to sleep. He wears his sandals always in the wrong foot. Strangely, Siddharth did the same when he was this age. He has learned his colors now. He knows most vegetables and fruits. He loves to play only with his toy cars. He hardly likes any other toys. He also enjoys posing for pictures and then asks to see himself in the pic. He loves his tricycle and is a very outdoor person. He loves to just take his tricycle and go out for a ride whenever he can. He has a wonderful and strong throw with the ball. He enjoys dancing and singing too. He is very very shy. With adults, he squirms and either hides or ignores.

He loves a car ride and is my constant companion to any place if I take him in the car. He is now scared of big dogs. He loves babies and promptly says kitna cute hai. He is the grandma of the house who is always fussing about where all the members are. He loves to play crazy physical games with his dad.

He is particular about who does what for him read expects mom to do almost everything. He is still a terror around the house but a bearable and lovable one at that 🙂

    Very nice write-up on Gautam. And I think you didn’t miss anything.But nobody of us writes about Siddharth anymore. I remember I used to write about him in my blog until very long. I used to think of him as a small child, always picking him up on the slightest opportunity. And just the next day after Gautam was born he suddenly became the big kid in the house, looking all grown up. The picking him ups reduced considerably also because Gautam needed so much attention.Now, even Gautam has grown up and looks hunky and all. But when they fall ill you tend to see how small they really are.These children are a conundrum. From near they look so grown up that they look like they’ll get into our shoes in two years. But from a distance when they are around other children you see that they are still small.Please write about Siddharth too and I’ll try and write about Gautam too 🙂

    Thank you, Gurdev. I agree with what you write. I feel the same way about our kids. I do hug Sid coz he often cribs that mummy only hugs Gautam. It is difficult for me to lift him because he is more than half my body weight:). Kids look grown up but we will always be protective of them, even when they will have their own kids :). That’s the way parents are. I will write about Sid soon too. You are right the elder one becomes older as soon as the younger one is born no matter how young he might be himself.
